There is always something happening at Blue Ridge Yoga!
Plant Care 101 Workshop & Rooted Restorative Class
Join us for a nurturing 90-minute experience that blends plant wisdom, self-care, and gentle rest. Led by plant mamas Margaret and Jessica B., this special event begins with a Plant Care 101 discussion, where we’ll explore the benefits of having plants in your space and share practical tips for caring for them with confidence. Whether you’re a seasoned plant lover or just beginning your green journey, this conversation offers simple, supportive guidance. From there, we’ll transition into a restorative yoga practice focused on personal growth, reflection, and renewal. Through supported poses and intentional rest, you’ll be invited to slow down, turn inward, and connect with what’s taking root within you. This class is designed to leave you feeling grounded, inspired, and gently refreshed, like both you and your plants have been lovingly tended.

The Art of Touch: A Workshop in Connection & Care
This gentle, grounding workshop explores how simple, intentional connection can support relaxation, presence, and emotional well-being. Led by our student, Jane Sarphie, an experienced facilitator in somatic connection, you'll be guided through approachable partner based practices such as, hand-holding, hugs, and soft hair play - small gestures that can help quiet the mind and soften the body. Think of it as an extension of the hands-on moments you appreciate in yoga classes: a steady shoulder press, a grounding squeeze of the feet, a pause that helps everything slow down. Come one your own or with a friend, this workshop offers space to slow down, connect, and receive care in a calm studio environment. Ideal for anyone craving presence, connection, and a little extra nourishment.

Emotional Grounding: A 4 Week Yoga Series with Dr. Kimberly Hicks
Join us in cultivating emotional and physical balance in this 4-week yoga series led by Dr. Kimberly Hicks. This all-levels class offers a supportive space to explore movement, mindfulness, and self-reflection as tools for navigating the emotional landscape of everyday life.
Class begins with a grounding practice and an empowering theme to gently infusing more ease, resilience, and joy into your life. Expect a slow-flow style practice that builds strength and stability while weaving in visualizations connected to each theme. Classes will wind down with longer stretches and journaling to help integrate the experience.
Throughout the series, the focus is on self-love, acceptance, and building strength from the inside out. You’ll be invited to honor your body exactly as it is while also cultivating greater physical strength, mental clarity, and emotional balance. This series is ideal for anyone looking to feel more grounded, empowered, and connected.

Each sound journey experience is unique. These immersions are intended to help each participant find and strengthen their own individual inner harmony and wholeness.
